Q. What is included in your fees?

A. On top of the exceptional personalised childcare and early learning provided at Tiny Legends in Palmerston North, our fees include Meals, portfolio books and Storypark.

Q. Do you offer 20 hours ECE?

A. Yes, Tiny Legends is a government approved ECE programme. The Government subsidizes the cost for children aged 3-5 years to attend early childhood education (ECE) for up to 20 hours a week. This funding is called 20 Hours ECE and is available for up to six hours a day for children in approved programmes, like our centre.

Q. Do you have a school readiness programme?

A. Yes, our Extension Group for our 4-year olds, helps build a strong foundation of independence and essential skills for children to transition to school as confident, capable learners.

Q. What age can my child start?

A. Our childcare centre in Palmerston North caters for infants from around 3 months up to school age. Please contact us to discuss our pre-planned setting process for your child.

Q. What are your opening hours?

A. We are open all year round, Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm, including school holidays and the Christmas/New Year period for your convenience. We’re closed statutory days only.

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. Our daycare centre provides meals, water, wipes, sunscreen and bedding if your child requires a sleep. We ask that parents provide nappies and suitable named clothing for the season, including a minimum of 2 full changes of clothes. We also ask that your child has their own named hat (Winter & Summer) as well as a wet bag for their wet/dirty clothing.
